Astatic minute man1

Hello all I picked up an old minureman1 at a garage sale and it still works with good audio the problem I am having is it is continuously draining the battery. I’m sure this has been required a time or 2 I was wondering I’m anyone had a picture of the inside so I can check wiring is correct I believe the switch is ok as I am getting an open and closed circuit on pins 1and 2 when switch is pushed in also if the one little transistor 2n5484 is bad would that cause this problem

Battery is disconnected by PTT.

Let me look on my tablet, I think I have a image of the inside.
If someone wired the switch goofy maybe that's why.

The schematic SP5IT posted shows wire colors and where they should be.
