thanks..when i get a lil braver this will come in handy..been studying it for 20 minutes already..i have a battery holder in mine but when i switch to e instead of r it just becomes a deadkey..
i think the schematic wil fix me up..if i become a lil braver:D
 
fixed 2 problems with these schematics today.and to think i payed the cb shop to screw my mics up..wont happen again,this is imbedded in my brain now;)

i guess even 30 yr exp cb shop guys screw up:bdh:
 
i will go out on a limb and say he was havin a bad day,for his sake..he has done many things to cobra 29,s for me over the past 25 yrs so mabye he had a brain fart;)
or,maybe he just knows trucker cb,s..

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
