Yeah I think I will sell the astron and just get whole new power supply to start. Planning on something a bit bigger so there wont be any problem. CB does stand for constantly buying thats for sure! Then constantly broke :roll: 73s

Hi if its the psu iam thinking about and you have run lots of watts over a period of time - take a look at the very front of the transformer locate the small wires, black or maybe white'' they are under rated and the solder goes brittle resolder.. if this helps.warhorse-uk.

2M Guy had it right....I like the Astron power supplys but they do need to be worked on sometimes.....check here
