i bought a chinese amazon autotuner. worked great till it didnt. replaced it and its all good. but back to the one that dont work.

powers up, self tests, 9.99 swr in bypass, auto will not tune. it goes into tune and just locks up. will reset. checked diodes under swr bridge and they seem ok. dont see any worser than usual solder joints. i prob fried it hooking it up backwards or lightening, who knows. had a yeasu front end diode pop around that time too. any ideas?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
