So what do i do or send my cobra to, to get that deep deep base sound?

If you had the choice and chance to change audio circuits in a export radio what changes would you make?

Has anyone tried to upgrade components in the audio circuit in any 3600 chassis radios? I was wondering if it made any noticeable difference.

First of all, I assume you want a bass sound. (as opposed to treble?) The idea is to get a audio frequency response of 150-1400hz, with a peak in the middle. Also I recomment tantalum, and monolythic capacitors rather than metal film. (mylars)
now thats sweeet sounding

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
