i have one of these matco 2 channel scopes brand new and was wondering if it could be used on standard electronics or aligning radios.

If it can time/slice up to 40mhz; then yes it will work.
If not; here is cheap alternative that should work. Just so long as you don't use it for high voltage work - it should be OK. It is hooked up to your computer or laptop via USB and comes with its own probes and software.

CB radios don't have high voltage - except the output of the radio. The parts of the radio you will need to use the scope are low voltage - eg ~4-5v p-p. If connecting the scope to the radios output, you will need to build an RF sampler first. VERRRY easy to do. Don't worry; be happy.
