AUX input for CB?

And if all we want is a separate jack, we can feed it into the radio's mike input so that the front-panel gain control will control the Aux input level.

:) (as you know) If the signal is fed through mic input line, factory pre-amp will be a major limiting factor in bandwidth. The radio I performed this on had no mic gain control
and I wanted "wider audio"
(could have added a pot bleeding some audio to ground).

I believe the problems I had early on can be attributed to ground loops, as I use a laptop for these kind of projects. Thanks
computer sound device, you risk having squeal problems unless the Aux audio is isolated from the radio's ground circuit.
That board looks very nice, great work Nomad!

I think a direct injection mod would work? Also if you want just wire up a 3.5mm jack to a mic cord wired up for the radio with a PTT as well! Dirty but easy! Just make sure your input drive and impedance are with in the realm of what your radio wants to see!
