Hello All, I have an old b&k (cobra) transistorized compressor amplifier model ca-300, it came with the astatic (lolly pop) style microphone. Now it has a 5 pin plug and i am trying to get it to work on my cobra 2000 gtl. It will transmit and i can receive on the meter but no sound thru speaker, i can jump pins 2 and 3 and get static and can receive fine, however when i key it does nothing but squeal.

it only has 4 wires from the box itself, white, black, shield, red, i have it wired as follows (standard) :
1 white
2 n/c
3 black
4 shield
5 red

can anyone tell me how to get this where it will rx and will work normally???

i was going to attach a pic, but i cant ever resize them where they will work.
