beams for my roof

automan4025,
I guess it just depends on what you call 'real big'. Something on the order of 8 x 18 feet certainly sounds big but is actually pretty 'small' for an 11 meter directional antenna. That's just a 'ball-park' number, not particularly accurate for size, but close. It would be sort of accurate for maybe a 3 element beam. A two element beam would change that 8' to something like 3 or 4 feet. You're pretty well 'stuck' with that 18' figure, sort of. Is that 'small' or 'large'?

you might like a nice neat two element quad like signal enginerings Super Hawk. only 11 lbs about a 6' boom,13'7" on the longest spreader,36db front to back and front to side rejection with a low angle of radioation that a quad gives you get great dxing. easly mounted on a tripod or strap it to a chimney and use a light duty rotor you be good to go. also another nice little antenna that give great performance and reasonably priced is the gizmotchy three element beam light as well and can be mounted the same way as a super hawk also maco makes a Y quad thats a god little perfomer as well. but out of the mentioned antennas the Signal Enginering Super Hawk would be the best.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
