Was wondering what kind of rating the forum members in here would give Bell's CB Shop as far as their tune-up and dependability work ?

No better or worse than any of the other online shops. They all offer a "Peak and Tune". Nothing special, just a 10 minute break 19 hotrod truck stop tune. Most have videos of their work, and they are all the same. Screaming into a noise canceling mic to make a watt meter swing doesn't impress me. I've bought from Bell's, Walcott, and others. I look for what they have in stock ready to ship unmolested.

I've bought from Bell's a few times throughout the years but didn't buy any of the extras so all went well. He's been in business a long time with many fan boys so that's got to mean something.

But there's one thing you will get when purchasing the peak-n-tune from there!

aaaaaauddddeeeeooooo check check check has been yelled into your radio while watching the meter bounce :ROFLMAO: and there's video to prove it.

I was looking around to buy 2 ea. President BT-Mikes so I checked their web site closer and they have a 900 number registered to a woman and not in the business name ( Fishy ) Then checked for a Better Business Bureau rating and was left Unimpressed. Might have to deal with Walcott radio again.

You've got Anderson radio supply closer to you which always have great service.
Their prices are lower than most usually.

I've bought several items from them (George FCC, President NC mic, and BT mic) and never had an issue. I'll get the new Washington from them as well, when it's in stock.

The number I see on the website is legit, I just called it to make sure. Maybe you fat fingered the phone when you dialed. 954-771-8161

That phone number shows up in a phone number search as registered to a woman instead of a business. She probably owns the business but further snooping around makes it appear Rinky Dink. It also had a complaint or 2 to the better business bureau, same as Walcott Radio and my personal experience. Like they say Once Burnt Twice Cautious. I have time to look around but thank everyone for their input. Let's face it Fall might be better because DX isn't what it was at the moment.

I want to say this in the nicest way possible to all these cry baby hams in the comments! Screwdriver at Bell's CB shop is one of the finest gentlemen you will ever meet. he was professionally trained by the United States Navy! he's been doing this longer than most of you wet nose pups have been alive! He sends with every radio a complete extensive check up Report with every radio.( this means he has real test equipment and knows how to use it) He can custom tune the radio to fit your needs. So no he does not do golden screwdriver work! he does some of the best work around it's not all about how much power a radio puts out to him it's how clean the radio is. I have dealt with a lot of people in this Hobby and spend a lot of money and I put my money on screwdriver every day of the week! So if you have any questions feel free to leave me a comment I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
