Better mic for Wouxun KG-UV3D

I have been playing around with the UV3D for a few weeks, and while I am not disappointed with it, I am disappointed with the detachable speaker/mic. While the speaker output is fine, the audio from the mic is weak. I set up a FRS radio and used the UV3D to transmit on the FRS channel, while using the detachable mic the audio was very low, but when I used the built in mic, the audio was much better . Now I hear the Kenwood detachable will work, but are they any better audio wise? I have an old detachable mic from a Motorola buisness radio that I may harvest the mic element out of, if I can find some specs on it.

Check this one out. I have a friend that says that it is a huge setup up from the Wouxun mic. Best of all it is only $8. I am ordering this mic to go with a Wouxun KG-UVD1P. Hope this helps. Here is a link:

It is almost hard to pass up at $8 I have no ideas how they can sell so low?
