Indeed and have been so for about 20 years. Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood, and even Motorola have been copied including battery packs etc. I never buy from other than a reputable ham dealer who orders directly from the manufacturer anyway and avoid all the online discount sites.

Somewhere, on that site, they mention their counterfeit product policy; something like, if your sold a counterfeit product, they will refund double your money.

I doubt you'd be successful with a claim, though.

no,i got it off a friend and he said it was off freq and sounded funny on all modes,so i gave him a export grant...desodered it for parts...
