Blue light

Here goes i installed blue lights (number segment) in my cobra 29, works great, exept the lens cover on the radio is not clear it is sort of orange color any one know were i can get clear ones??? ever have this problem. Thanks.

just take the other one out till you get a clear one.

Good luck finding a clear one! I havent found any yet. What I do is go to staples or any place that sells clear plastic sheets used to protect important documents(not the flimsy ones) cut and then hot glue them to the back of the face plate. You only need 4 small dabs of glue.

Thanks again for all the help, i used a cd case that was tinted a little and it works great, Later this week im going to tap plastics and Them make a few up for me, Thanks # 15 in Northern Cal.

i have just used the green covers from unidens, they dont change the color any and they dim it just enough

i get them from parts radios usually. a green cd case would work, last i seen they were about a dime a piece when you buy them in larger quanitys. i bought a 100 assortment for like $10 from sams club that i use for my burnt dvd's
