OAK PARK -- An autopsy done on the body found at the top of a 1,100-foot television tower indicates the man committed suicide but police said their investigation continues.

Lasharr Gullap, 23, of Detroit died of multiple blunt force trauma, according to an investigator with the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office.

“He must have tried to jump and landed on the gate,” said the investigator, James Martinez.

Gullap’s family reported him missing to Detroit police on March 3, said Oak Park Police Sgt. Jason Ginopolis.

“The last time they saw him was Feb. 28,” Ginopolis said.

The exact time of Gullap’s death couldn’t be determined by the autopsy. Martinez said his body appeared to have been there for a while.

Gullap’s body was discovered about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday by maintenance workers. He was wearing only a T-shirt and underwear. No suicide note was found.

“The case is still under investigation,” Ginopolis said. “We know the cause of death was traumatic injuries but we don’t know why is up there or his state of mind.”

A technical rescue team recovered the body from the tower near Eight Mile Road and Myers. The tower is leased to WWJ-TV.

Saw that story yesterday...apparently he tried to jump but failed...or kind of failed?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
