Brian Moran, N9ADG, will take over as editor of The ARRL Contest Update, starting with the May 20 issue. Current editor Ward Silver, N0AX, is stepping away after 13 years as the radiosporting newsletter’s head honcho in order to concentrate on other ARRL projects. Moran, who lives in Kirkland, Washington, has been in Amateur Radio for more than 35 years.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
