Hello all, its been a while since i got the cobra 2000 working with your help, and its been fine ever since. Recently i noticed a slight crackle on the Audio so i opened it up to have a look around. I was checking out the wiring and noticed a brown wire had come adrift . I have taken a picture of the attached end whick is on the right of the two cans , on the trace underneath it connects to the white wire in the picture it appears to me the main voltage negative. if anyone had a picture of where the other end goes it would sort the problem.. also the radio is working with it detached. What is the function of the wire. Many thanks

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
