does anyone have any direction on how to build a small amp for 11 meters I am looking either to buy or build a 50-100watt amp for my Cobra 2000.
Any suggestions???
 

I have to agree buy the RM amp open the cover up Take a look inside and then decide if amp building is for you... Put the amp in line and expirment..Watch your input wattage they like it low 1 to 2 1/2 watts check out the amp picks and schematics online also.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
