Built a 3 element yagi for CB; every station had talking until I keyed the mike

Captain Kilowatt Question: If he center fed his driven element, couldn't he just use a certain length of 75 ohm (RG-59) coax as a easy balun to match it? I mean, just to get it up and running, till he can get a beta or gamma match or figure out a better way to direct feed it?

The whole microphone thing was just a bad connection, but I did notice that with just the positive wire connected to one element it reads low TX power but receives just as well with less noise. With the ground also connected there is equal reception with more noise and the TX power reads full.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
