cant get radio to key 667

took out the oscillator board like directed radio wont key the amp rec amp will work all the buttons light up but it wont key or the light in the meter wont work

Kinda obvious that you didn't do the conversion right; isn't it?
Either that - or the amp wasn't working right out of the box.

might be a long shot but if you are sure the conversion was done right,,, try a different length of coax between the radio and box,,,

I had something like this happen once,, the amp would not key with the receive amp on. changed coax length (longer) and that fixed it.
