Hi all I purchased a zing ring at a ham fest attached it to the base of Mt 102 whip ribg ontop of the spring. Antenna was mounted in the middle nof my trunk lid of my 66 chevell.. It seemed to help flatten swr across the band helped slightly with output and Recieve. Mada a couple after for friends out of stainless rods most used them on mobile whips nit base loaded but helped with top loaded whips 1 guy used it on his big stick attatched to the base of the whip . His antenna nwan on the 20th floor roof he lived it claimed it helped his output cut down static and flattened his swr across the band.. I still have my original ring was going to experiment with my solarcon MAX optimizer.. See it it makes a difference with anything..
Do you ave a pic?

  • @ Deon:
Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.

@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
