Only these two. No other choices. The pics are the two antennas on the roof of my Jeep. Easy question. One choice. Which one would you choose?

Its all in the post. Simple.Need more information! How is going to be mounted? What type of vehicle will it mount to?
You would see very little difference. Its all in the post. Simple.
TS500DX. The pic is my skip shooting antenna. Its a 108in with a 12in adjuster/riser. Breedlove mount.are you running any power? say a kw or more?
I'd run the SS for just everyday driving then the 10k for skip. just my opinion. both look fine up there. what brand of puck mount is that?
As long as the antenna has a shaft below the coil, it is still a center load. The shorter shaft will tune just as well but obviously the whip will have to be extended to compensate. Will that longer shaft Predator 10k tune a better SWR over a shorter shaft say 6"-9" ?I ve heard conflicting reports about rejection and bottom loaded antenna
The riser is from XForce, not sure if they are still making them. Trucks CB Sales had 10in ones for sale recently on his FB page. I also have a XForce puck mount but I dont think they make them anymore. The Breedlove one is the same. The one I use now is the 3in Breedlove and I also have the 4.5in one as well. Usually the lower the coil or the shorter the antenna the less you get out and can hear basically. Also read any coil wider than 3 inches is incorrect. I have all the shafts and after tuning swr is always 1.1 on 1 and 40 and went to 2.2 on the highest and lowest channels on a 955 and a at6666. I have also read the more metal the better on antennas. Skipshooters are great antennas sold back in the 70sish and remade after they discontinued by manufaturers. It has the thickest winding wire on their 4ft or longer than all the other wwire wound stick antennas I have researched thats out there. A radio friend of mine has one of those GoR and he also uses it with a 12XTransistor amp. It has a huge coil which I have read posts from ham techs over the years and they all say over 3 inch coil is not correct. Predators are the only coiled antenna I like and it actually beat out my 108in whip setup getting out and receiving(In a local base to mobile test). Here is a good read, one of the many I have read and as I said it basically shows what I said on longer the better, etc.. http://www.copperelectronics.com/articles/big_coil_antennas_exposed.phpi like that! what riser is that?
i don't think Gunny is out there anymore or least nothing about a Gunny puck on the web. Will that longer shaft Predator 10k tune a better SWR over a shorter shaft say 6"-9" ? Ive heard conflicting reports about rejection and bottom loaded antenna. Like the Rod Of God or Rod Of FatBoy. not sure why RoG is $1600.
good info FSB.
Thanks.
what about rejection off the roof of the mobile? not sure how that plays in but i read an article about SWR on Mr Coily's web site that just had me thinking. sorry not trying to hijack OP's thread.
