Hello all, I was curious if echo is allowed on cb competition key downs? Thank you

As far as I can tell CB keydowns are about which of the various competitors can put out the most power from their rigs. I dont think conversation comes into it at all, but I'm open to correction. Hope this helps.

Echo would probably bring up the average audio level. That being said, a key down radio probably has this function already covered. The way the peak RF flat tops, the average power has probably already saturated the output transistors and no additional signal will make any noticeable improvements.
