I'm getting ready to install a Magnum S9 in my '03 Chevy Silverado. How do I wire it up for the best power and ground? And do I need to run a separate ground wire to the radio itself?

run the positive wire to the battery terminal, MAKE SURE YOU FUSE IT RIGHT AT THE BATTERY TERMINAL FOR FIRE SAFETY!

run the negative wire to the vehicle body close to the radio. dont leave the negative wire any longer than you need to.

as long as its just an S9 and not an S9-80 or something, then 10ga. wire should be just fine.

Lol, I was wondering where my post went.

Actually I had a different question to ask. I didn't think that it would actually matter. The more posts the better right? I mean, I'm not some senior member who kinda makes fun of people just because the questions that are asked might the same or just a little different.....duh! LOL! Right back atcha?
