is there anyone who did a DDS conversion to a CB radio?
Please no discussion whether it makes sence or not.

You mean replace the PLL with a direct digital synthesizer?
I guess it would make sense if you want to do some funky FM modulation or change or sweep frequencies really fast. No reason it shouldnt work as long as the power level is right, and the frequencies are in the same range as the original PLL outputs.

With that, I suppose you could do something silly like take out all 40 cb channels at the same time.

Analog Devices has an entire range of chips that does that.
