Agreed. However when the same general metaphor is used in the same context in a comparisn that relates to a ham operator One would expect the same understanding.

It still is used in a contextual sense that can be seen as a "poke" at citizen band operators sterotyping them in general as dishonest.This can be clearly seen with the line drawn through the reference.

The metaphor was not lost by anyone.

The complaint was legit.

STAY ON TOPIC.
If not it will get locked.
As a whole we need to look at the question asked and answer, NOT focus on the statement`s made by others.
If you have an opinion to offer post it.
If you do not like someone`s opinion you have that right to not like it, but if you are going to waste space bitching about what some one else posts it will be removed.
