Hello all



I've got a rci2990 and it has the channel changing buttons on the stock mic. Well personally, I really like this idea, so I was thinking. What would it take to convert a stock mic into a similar mic?



Now I have an old radio shack mic that has the channel buttons on it but I want to convert a stock mic, say a cobra mic, add a couple of push buttons and wire it to change the channels on a mobile radio. Anyone have any experience doing this or ever done it? Any help anyone could offer would be great.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
