Hi fellas, I am new to this forum. I've been kicking around some others for quite some time now, and have been into radio since the late 70's. I have a Cobra 2000GTL that I recently had gone over by a tech in Fort Worth, TX. The rig has a channel guard filter in it, that was bought several years back from CBC International/Lou Franklin. The tech was kind of intrigued by the filter, and wanted to buy one to test in one of his own rigs. I searched the archives here, and the posts concerning this item are pretty old (2004 and older). I cannot find the filters listed on Lou's web site anymore, or on Ebay. Is there anyplace that still sells them?

Lou doesnt sell them anymore, saying the cystals are to expensive, but I believe H&Y still has them, mine works great in my 148

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
