Channel King board update?

I have a couple of Channel King boards. One in a 980 and one in my 2000. A few years ago Mark said he planned to do some kind of update to the project. A V3.0 board perhaps? But that was before Mike did whatever it was he did and things went quiet.

I believe that Toby Driscoll from Troy Radio Service is working on a DDS VFO for the 980. I can't remember where I saw it.

So since we haven't seen any movement of a frequency modification for the 980 yet I'm thinking maybe as a collective the CB community needs to sweeten the pot and maybe someone with the computer/radio skills can crack it. Maybe some Chinese guy who worked on the software can give help us out if...

Yes, they do a 980 with the DDS VFO, they had a video of the radio over on the FB group.

He is making a stand alone VFO/Display that looks good.
