They are, diodes have and anode and cathode

When you purchase an LED … longer leg is anode while shorter leg is cathode.

The channel (2 digit) LED legs are all equal length, and there design is internal in the plastic. I believe there are several variety and I cant remember if the cobra 148 is of the same design as the galaxy rigs
