Channel LED replacement

Cobra 148 GTL segment LED segment went out.
What is the subjective degree of difficulty to replace it?
Is it just a socket pull and push or is there soldering involved?

Soldering and de-soldering is a must.

No; it is not as simple as unplugging it from a socket. It will require decent soldering skills and a few tools for removal and replacement. And a great deal of care must be used so that other parts of the radio aren't damaged or compromised by the process. The other side of this is that you must get a replacement part too. I've had a checkered experience with Redman CB Radio and this part; but he isn't the only seller out there.
