So Tony at Zero 5 Antennas is making, by Special Order Request, is making what he's calling the Colossal 4, and it's his version of the Sigma-Vector 3/4 Vertical with the Ice Cream Cone GP Basket. All super-heavy duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Claiming 30K Watts. Price shipped is a whopping $1,200. 1-2 week manufacture time. Have a local friend who is going to get one. Here's a link to one with Video from Simon The Wizard.
The C4 is NOT on the Zero 5 website ! - and again is Special Order Only at this time

Someone, I think it was Concrete, was working on a big beefy model of the Vector years ago, there might be a picture or two still on the forum, it was many years ago.
$1200 is a lotta money for a single vertical antenna, unless you live on top of mount everest and need something to handle gale force winds on a daily basis I can't see that.
That kind of money could get you a serious multiple element yagi with much more gain if that's the goal.
But I am cheap.

Couldn't agree more CK, but sadly, the quoted 30kW will sell the antenna to a portion of the public, performance aside.

'm sounds like mine's bigger than your's kind thing, but hey it's only money right?

Probably not, but 3Kw would get the same results plus the added benefit of better RX.
No one thinks of RX.
Yeah, but can you pump 30kW of splatter thru the Yagi??:ROFLMAO:;)

Actually there are a couple on .025 that do, Prime is running a small beam on his little station, and some cat called motor mouth maul seems to get out....

This?
Yes, and there was a older thread from concrete that had pictures of the antenna in his shop long before the DM version showed up.
I don't contest that the Vector is a interesting design, the are hundreds of pages of info and debate and modeling that show it can be a very effective antenna when mounted up in the clear, my eyebrow raise is just the cost.
