This looks interesting...but the price is a little high for a Chinese made product that i have never heard or seen of.

Wouxun has been teasing us with one of these 2m/70cm mobile things for well over a year and still have nothing on the market yet. Maybe this will force them over the edge to bring their product to market. For the price they are asking for this "BJ" brand thing and unless it has ALL of the same features as the Yaesu FT-8800; then it really isn't all that much. Compare it to that Yaesu; and then think about this 'unknown horse'.

As far as that HT goes; couldn't care less.

But great that you brought up that other radio here; that will DEFINITELY generate interest . . .

Yes it is. The case looks flimsy and it's missing a few watts on VHF.

It has 2.5 kHz. Are you thinking of that new HT?

I may be wrong, but I thought it doesn't have 2.5 channel spacing, but had PL spacing that would allow 2.5 kHz to be programmed into a memory channel. ????

Can anyone confirm this?
