anybody know if & where these can be obtained anymore????
how about a replacement IC for the non-modifiable later version 2510's?
 

thanks, msj BUT that chip, the UC1250A-read that, with the 'A'-is UNMODIFIABLE! 2510's with the 'A' chip need it to be swapped OUT for either the chipswitch, or a UC-1250, UC-1201A, UC-117. the 'UC1250A' version was unidens attempt to get the FCC off their back for making a radio that freebanders could modify. how COULD they....the FCC i mean :gdlf

undertaker, doc's will NOT sell the chipswitch, they will ONLY install it.....
 
thankyou, shockwave....i made my original post without giving enough time for a reply from 'the horses mouth'. enough chipswitches are on there way for me to do every 2510/2600/lincoln in....my shack :D
