hi guys !
i bought a virgin cobra 139xlr off ebay
radio works super had few bugs to work out but all is super
now clarifier unlocked now tuned up d-104 silver eagle desk mic wired
years ago i had all the paper work for doing the d 858 chip sence then i have lost them what i need is a decent discription of the mods
yes i find them on the net
yes i know the pins 19,20,17,13 and also 22 for 10 meter
what i need is where is the 5 volt source is and where do i put the 4.7k resisors every thing on the net says across the cut trace for some reason this doesnt ring a bell i rememer putting them else where else
if any one has a clear picture of this it would be super

thanks guys but i found what i needed about 30 mins after posting this for some reason theres more info when you put in google radio shack rec 458 and found what i needed thanks again

bigred, cant remember what was wrong with yours.

im not a tech, i just know that chassis pretty well, and might be able to help you guess your way through it.
