Cobra 146

I need some help, I have the opportunity to get one, cheap, that is like brand new but I can't find anything out about it off the web. I imagine its an older radio, anyone have any info for me or opinions on this radio.

I own one and its till bone stock. You can chanel them but need to add a difrent PLL chip. there is also a slider mod for the clarifier.

 

[Switch Kit]

Good Radio ! if your just looking for a reliable AM/SSB CB , it will do great ! A light tune up with a good power mic , or tuned down to run a heater. I'd leave the chip alone , and be on the look out for a N Kit if you even want extra channels ? Yes it is about 25 years old or so , don't worry about that , they were made to last ! Cheap and like new would be a steal jbo.
