here is a working list of power/audio mods for cobra 148-gtl/2000-gtl
1-change-r114-to-10k
2-change-c46-to-.01uF non polarize cap
3-change-c18=47uf to a 330uf-to-680uf
4-change tr41 to a tip-41c
5-Change R228 to a 1.5k ohm resistor
6-change C172 to a 2200uF 25volt
7--on IC-5 change R190 from 100 to 47ohms then put a 330ohm from pin-5 to ground 8--re-tune radio should see a tad more
9--check R183 by pre-drive if it is a 12-ohm change to 10-ohms
10-if modulation is low and SSB low power on IC3 balance modulator remove c207=47pf and change R206 from 270k to a 35k
11-for asymmetrical-audio-add a 1uf non-polarize capacitor to the junction of D63/R194/R228 to pin-9 audio-IC chip
