Ok i have a cobra 148 nw st deadkeys at 4 watts and swings to 13 but when i turn my amp on it deadkeys at 175 and swings backwards to 150 can anybody help me? i just dont understand? ive never had a radio do this to me maybee i need a variable power kit installed ? does anybody know any mods or and info on this radio would be greatly appreciated thanks.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
