Cobra 148 swing on 15.50 volts (video)

Tried this on my bench......

Using a voltage of 15.50 this cobra 148 put out about 11-12 watts RMS. The reading was attained with a bird model 43 meter with a 25 watt slug. The 148 dead keys at 2 watts and swings up to 11-12. This is prob average for this volts. here is the video.....click on link.

That radio will run fine at that voltage with a good SWR. Been there done that.
