it has a high/low power switch on it. the low dk can be set where ever you would like it from 1/2 a watt to 4 watts at the time of alignment and tuning. would work with most small amps. dosn't seem like you would want to run to small of an amp anyhow when the radio is basicly the samething. maybe a 2 or 3 pill 350-450 watts?
