Cobra 18 wx st ii schottky diode

i do not believe that there is a detector diode in this radio.
i could be wrong but looking at the schematic, it looks like its handled by IC4.

also i dont see s noise blanker circuit, so there would be no 1N60 diodes in this radio that could be converted to schottkys.

again, i could be wrong, but im not seeing it.

The best mod for a Cobra 18 soundcrapper would be polish it up real pretty and sell it on E-Bay. Then go by a better performing radio.
