I have an old Cobra 19 LTD and was wondering if anyone knew of any mods that can be made with this radio? I also have an old Palomar 250 that I used to run with it once upon a blue moon.

I have an old Cobra 19 LTD and was wondering if anyone knew of any mods that can be made with this radio? I also have an old Palomar 250 that I used to run with it once upon a blue moon.
Align it, fix anything that's broken, fix/replace scratchy pots.
Ensure that modulation is set to 90-100%.
If you're driving to an amplifier, you should make your output power variable.
If you want to use it alone, consider the IRF520 mod.
