Cobra 19 ultra

I am looking for a first cb radio. Basically just to get on the air with. I have stumbled across a cobra 19 ultra and am wondering if anyone has any feedback regarding this radio, both good or bad.

I've heard good things about the Uniden 510 and 520. How does this Cobra model compare?

Any advice on a cheap, first radio (new or used) would be appreciated.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
