Hey guys: Have another 1 of these on the bench, this 1 has a dead EL display inverter. Anyone know if these are still available from anywhere ?. It's too badly damaged to attempt repair.

Hi Robb: Cheers for the reply, Not sure whether it's the same as the 148 I've not seen 1 yet.
Will download the manual for the 148 & check the circuit.
The customer has now decided that he want's me to fit smd led's for backlighting instead.
