RV14 - SSB High Power
RV5 - FM Deviation
Conversion
Remove R138 and install in the vacent pads near old location

RV1 - TX Meter
RV2 - Squelch
RV5 - FM Deviation
RV6 - SSB Balance
RV7 - SWR Meter
RV8 - A/F Low Power
RV9 - A/F High Power
RV15 - RX Meter
RV19 - TX Current
RV21 - TX Current
RV23 - SWR Meter

CBTricks has the full list of Technical service bulletin's for the 200gtl dx's. if you dont want to do the required repairs than cobra will do them for free (a service center)

I agree, they have a high failure rate. Worse then the galaxy 949/959's but, I don't personally care for any of the three from the repair bench side of it.

Huh i haven't had any problems with my 959? I have heard of the frequency counters going bad but that's it, What have you seen?

I had a Cobra 200 I thought it is a decent radio... there's not too many mods for it, I think its a little nicer on appearance than the Galaxy's. If you get all the factory updated on the Cobra 200 and leave it stock you should be fine!
