Cobra 2000 Freq. Counter problem!

I just got one in trade from a friend of mine and the freq. counter reads all zero's. The friend told me that lighnin hit by his house and the counter stopped workin,it still lights up but no read out.The clock doesnt work either. Any info on fixin this would be helpfull. Thanx in advance,Rich

The module is bad. I would suggest to contact Mike@ Mike's electronics at galaxy1@zoomnet.net He does alot of work on the freq counters and modules.
