Cobra 2000 GTL newer model or older model

was looking around today and what i think is a cobra 2000 gtl
cant see the exact front of it
looks to big to be the cobra 1000
has 7 knobs that i can see
i can also see the top of the radio but it does not have a screen or vented top towards the rear
and my cobra 2000 has a screen or air ventilation toward the top rear

any thoughts on the matter

will try and get a better look tommorrow
it was in a closet untill the boss bought the place and the closet was cleaned out and everything stacked on out on top of the little tool room
will have to get a ladder to see it​

I would personally look at a uniden 858 based chassis... ESP the TRC-457 or better yet the TRC-457

the 2000 is a much better radio than the 1000...

I do not think the 1000 had a freq counter function
