Cobra 25 Ltd Channel readout

I have several channel readouts for my cobra 25 Ltd would like to know how to test them before installing them thank you .
 

I assume it is the same as the one I just took out of this 148GTL (same number of pins according to the schematic)

The pad that my brass tuning poker is pointing at is the common positive and all the rest are the negatives for the individual LED's. A DMM in diode mode with the red probe on the pin I pointed at will read about 1.8v when touching the negative probe to the other pads one by one. The DMM may even light them up a little.

The older 25's used a common cathode display and the newest use a common anode. Same numbers of pins but they aren't the same, on the older ones anyway.
