Cobra 29 High Power mod with 2sc1969 transistor

I Guess the question is is it maybe just a misprint about the 3mhz transition frequency? Maybe it's supposed to say 30mhz. Has any actually tried them? I know that I tried the hg1969 and it didn't go well in a 29 with the tip120 mod they usually fail catastrophicly! What about the cb20? In the same scenario do they work well?
I thought of a misprint. I'll have to order one and give it a whirl. They're $10 to us in .ca, but rather part with that than trust an ebay fake.

The "2S-" prefix is EIAJ, a japanese outfit, not JEDEC. Seems they're not so strict.

I got a reply from the distributor and he explained the JIS system a bit.... emphasis is mine.

"Those numbers were registered by the Japanese manufacturers, but there is no global enforcement, so a factory outside that registry can print an already-used number on its own part, and popular RF numbers get reused that way quite often. A shared marking therefore does not imply equivalence: the Mitsubishi datasheet defines the real 2SC1969, and any other 2SC1969 is only worth what its own datasheet says. If the EVVO document shows a different package, dissipation or gain, it is simply a different transistor wearing a borrowed name."
