If I know Cobra they will discontinue it right before all the bugs are worked out just like they did with the 150 and 200.

i have zero confidence in anything cobra builds these days . their old school radios can be very good though . if you want shinny and new id suggest uniden for AM and galaxy for SSB .

@ AWP:Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
