I was wondering if any one new how to install variable dead key on a cobra 29
I tuned this one up and want to run an amp with it. Thanks in advance!

If you want it truly "variable", you could run the leads from the cap (where the resistor goes) to an external POT, or disconnect the Delta Tune and use that. You do that instead of the resistor. Or, you can use the resistor and run some wires to a switch that you don't use on the radio to make it switch from normal carrier to low carrier. That's the way I would do it. There are other ways to do it, as well.
